This unsigned brooch is just fantastic.. it is in mint condition and has the high quality of Sherman - in fact I compared it to my Sherman brooch and apart from the backing, the rhinestone set is identical
Details:
- Pronged claw stone placement - teal and pantone blue marquis stones decorated with round aurora borealis stones - looks like Austrian Crystal
- Silvertone backing of mixed metals
- 2 inches x 1 inches - large and ornate and well made
- This has the figure 8 trademark of a Juliana brooch (will not confirm it is D&E) but also has similar pin C clasp placement. If not, it's a very good copy since the stone setting is exceptional and the brooch is in excellent condition
-Tiny rhinestones along the leaf stem
See photos! This truly is a special piece of well made costume jewelry from the 1960s or earlier. I put this brooch next to my Sherman and I could not tell the difference except for the back of the brooch.
