Description
This is a rare, 1930 bakelite necklace with apple juice bakelite and celluloid. It has been tested with simichrome. It's in great condition but the clasp, although original is easy to separate so an additional metal clasp will be included for extra wearing safety.
Size: The beads are up to 1 inch in length
Length: The necklace is 16" each in length
Chain Length: The chain is 0.25 inches in length
Materials: The large, translucent yellow (apple juice) and marbled brown (root beer or iced tea) elements are authentic
The orange chain is made of celluloid
This is a geometric, hand-finished type with wedges, a common style for Bakelite jewelry which was often crafted from stock shapes rather than being fully molded.
