- Simplicity UNCUT pattern 5827 from 1963 - never used - some wear and tear on the envelope that it was stored in but the pattern is intact
- Printed in the USA
- In the 1960s, size 16 was an 8 (8 was added to the sizing back in the day)
- Bust 36
With this pattern you can make a one piece dress and jacket.
A Line dresses were collarless and sleeveless and Jackie Kennedy commonly wore this fashionable item. I have included in this listing a photo of Jackie Kennedy (Not included) in her infamous Osca de la Renta A-Line dress that was her fashion trademark.
If you can sew, this dress can be a real show stopper with the right fabric and style. It's always worn at the knee, and the jackets is wonderful also. You can also make a fabulous wedding dress, 1960s style with this pattern!
